      <title>Mayor Peard Announces Waukee Interchange Approved!</title>

      <description>An interchange that would open a development corridor between Waukee and West Des Moines has been approved by the Federal Highway Administration. The interchange, with a current projected cost of $15 million, would provide access to the Alice's Road/105th Street corridor linking the two cities, Waukee and West Des Moines at Interstate 80.&lt;br /&gt;

      <title>Des Moines Metro Tops Forbes List</title>

      <description>Des Moines was chosen as the #1 ranked city for business and careers by Forbes Magazine.  The magazine chose Des Moines based on low business and living costs (15% and 10% below national averages.)  Forbes also cited the Metro's low unemployment rate of 5.9% and a positive outlook on employment, which is expected to growth at 2.7% over the next three years (10th in the nation.)&lt;br /&gt;

      <title>TEAM's Iowa Health System Data Center to Open in Waukee, IA</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Data center construction and operation firm TEAM Companies (&lt;a href="http://www.team-companies.com/" target="_blank"&gt;www.team-companies.com&lt;/a&gt;) announced on Wednesday that the new data center in Waukee, Iowa it has built for integrated healthcare system Iowa Health System (&lt;a href="http://www.ihs.org/" target="_blank"&gt;www.ihs.org&lt;/a&gt;) will open at the end of the month.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Construction of the data center began in November 2008. The facility was originally scheduled to open last month, but was postponed because of bad weather.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Iowa Health System is an integrated healthcare system that includes many hospitals, group practices and clinics across Iowa, Illinois and Nebraska, which all partnered to build the data center in 2008.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The health organization will house its IT infrastructure in the facility while additional colocation space will be leased to other customers.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Partners have invested $15 million in the 46,000 square foot data center, which will be built out in three phases.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The grand opening ceremony is scheduled for January 28.&lt;/p&gt;
